So we are moving quickly towards being able to raid with just guildies again. Like I said in my last post, we've welcomed a bunch of new players to the guild, but with that, a lot of folks are leveling up new characters. If you are new to the guild, enjoy your time leveling! There is no need to race to 110 and have you miss out on a bunch of great storyline content just for endgame stuff. While we are definitely looking forward to raiding again as just a guild (NO PUGS!), we want you to have as much fun as possible and not feel pressured at all. But as you level up and hit 110, please feel free to ask for mythic runs and any help gearing up! We're super happy to do so, and the officers and I are very happy to help you get ready for raiding.
We're nearing the end of the summer, and the return to school and real life soon, too. Usually that means an uptick in gaming as people get back from vacations, so we're definitely looking forward to that. With that though, lots more stress and craziness. Remember that the Bible says, "The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him." (Nahum1:7) So as life gets crazier, remember that you've got a Defender on your side no matter what.
I'll leave with a video I made of a goofy run into Black Rook Hold last week where we did not make the timer at all, but we did learn the ferocity of the necrotic affix. Good times were had!
